W dniu 15.11.2019 r. (piątek) w sali Gmach Mechaniki Politechniki Warszawskiej pok. 104, godz. 12.15 miało miejsce seminarium w ramach sekcji PES/IA IEEE.

Prelegentem był dr inż. Łukasz Kocewiak, pracownik Firmy Ørsted Offshore (Dania), absolwent Wydziału Elektrycznego PW.

Tytuł: R&D focus on electrical infrastructure solutions in offshore wind power plants

Streszczenie: Introduction to Ørsted Offshore. Elaboration about R&D strategy and focus on development of the electrical infrastructure of systems that are the backbone of offshore wind power plants and their grid connection systems. Furthermore, presentation of ongoing activities regarding modern wind power plant systems design, construction and operation. Moreover, brief introduction to challenges associated with the continuously increasing sizes, distances, technical complexity as well as new technology on the market and especially increasingly complex requirements from certifies and authorities.

Celem seminarium była wymiana informacji o aktualnych projektach badawczo-naukowych, trendach w rozwoju nauki z zakresu elektroenergetyki i energoelektroniki, doświadczeniu w energetyce odnawialnej.

Po prelekcji był odpowiedni czas na rozmowę o potencjalnej współpracy między działem Badawczo-Rozwojowym firmy Ørsted Offshore a Politechniką.
